Website EITB

Euskal Irrati Telebista (EITB) is the most important medium in the Basque Country; therefore, they needed a website that could contain all the information that EITB generates, under a solid and organized content architecture that will transmit information hierarchies and stability. The EITB group wanted its website to become an audiovisual site, giving more relevance to the multimedia content.

Wegetit solution

Such an important medium needed a new website to show all its content under an attractive and intuitive interface. Wegetit, working with EITB, suggested a website with an easily navigable design, and modules to arrange the information and present the multimedia content.

In this work we highlight...

The modular nature of the website

In order to arrange the information and present the news in various ways, we have created combinable modules. The correct use of the modules allows the structured and organized presentation of the contents. One of the challenges of EITB was to arrange the information according to its importance and, thanks to the modules, we have been able to solve the challenge.

The outstanding content

We have reserved this space in the whole website to insert outstanding content, so we can provide the site with personality. This way, we emphasize some of the content in a more eye-catching and attractive way, and we can see its corporative identity. This space becomes one of the most important in the website, as it gives the chance to insert pictures, videos and to navigate through the outstanding content.

Context menus

Navigation through context menus is an example of the easy usability of the EITB website. Context menus allow the access to the information in the various parts of each section and the visualization of outstanding news.

Internal navigation of modules

In order to solve the navigation of the contents and make the most of all the holes in the site, we have provided the modules with internal navigation, through the use of slides, tabs and pagination.

Footnotes

Footnotes are present throughout the whole site. For the upper part of the footnote, we have created a module called ‘most popular’, through which, thanks to fast clicks and a tab menu, we can access the most watched news in the EITB site.
